The Roots of Meadow Rise – Samantha, Founder & Registered Manager

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, everything begins with roots—and Samantha is ours. Her leadership is grounded in lived experience, emotional intelligence, and a lifelong commitment to seeing the best in people.

Samantha’s journey into care began long before qualifications or job titles. Growing up with parents who lived with complex health conditions—renal failure, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis—she became a carer in the truest sense from a young age. Her mum is a transplant patient; her dad, who passed away from cancer in 2023, was her guiding light. He saw wildflowers where others saw weeds, believed in people no matter their circumstances, and dreamed of becoming a social worker. Meadow Rise is built in his honour.

From spending school holidays in nursing homes where her family worked, chatting with residents and helping where she could, Samantha’s passion for care grew naturally. She studied Health and Social Care at school and college, worked in pharmacy, and then entered the care sector—progressing from carer to team lead, care coordinator, and eventually Registered Manager in domiciliary care.

She holds a degree in Health and Social Care and is close to completing her master’s in Healthcare Leadership. Her leadership is shaped not just by qualifications, but by firsthand insight into what good care looks like—and what it feels like when systems fail. She’s also a Practice Manager in a GP surgery, where she’s supported projects with the Primary Care Network, including Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and the Frailty Hub.

Samantha sees the gaps others miss. She listens deeply, leads with emotional intelligence, and believes that care should be done with people, not to them. Her door is always open, the kettle is always on, and her roots run deep—into the community, into the lives of those she supports, and into the vision of a care service that’s relational, inclusive, and rooted in real life.

Meadow Rise isn’t just a company. It’s a legacy. And Samantha is the root from which it grows.

The Stem Of Meadow Rise - Our Admin Team

Holding us together. Helping you flourish.

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, our admin team are the stem—the strong, steady link that holds everything upright and flowing. Just as a stem connects roots to bloom, our admin team connects people, plans, and purpose with calm, capable care.

Behind every care plan, every visit, and every reassuring moment is our Admin Team—the quiet strength who keep everything running smoothly and compassionately. They’re the ones who answer the phones with warmth, listen without rushing, and make sure your care is arranged exactly how you need it. They liaise with companions, families, health professionals, and community services—always keeping you and your loved ones in the loop.

But they’re more than coordinators. They’re emotional anchors. Whether you’ve got a question, a concern, or just fancy a little chat, they’re here. They’ll reassure, respond, and reflect, making sure you feel heard and supported every step of the way.

And if you’d rather speak face-to-face? They can visit you at home, bringing that same calm presence and practical support in person.

At Meadow Rise, admin isn’t just about logistics—it’s about relationship, reliability, and real connection. Our admin team are here for you, always—holding the service steady so every person we support can flourish.

🌱 We’re still growing. As a newly forming service, we’re building our admin team from the ground up—and we’re looking for people who want to be part of something meaningful. If you’re warm, organised, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about making care feel personal, we’d love to hear from you.

The Petals Of Meadow Rise - Our Carers

Visible Care. Gentle Strength. Emotional Connection.

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, we don’t call our team “carers”—we call them companions. Because they’re more than task-doers. They’re listeners, encouragers, and trusted presences who walk alongside the people we support with warmth, dignity, and emotional intelligence.

If Meadow Rise is a flower, our companions are the petals—the part you see and feel first. They bring colour, comfort, and connection. They open gently to each person’s needs, respond to the light of their preferences, and offer care that feels soft, safe, and deeply human.

Every companion is carefully recruited and selected, not just for their qualifications and experience, but for who they are as a person. We look for people who genuinely care—who see this not as a job, but as a calling. People who want to bring something meaningful to Meadow Rise, and who are open to receiving just as much in return.

We train our companions highly and specifically, tailoring their development to the needs, wishes, and goals of the people they support. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care—and we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. Our companions learn how to respond with emotional intelligence, how to support independence safely, and how to build relationships that feel more like family than formality.

And we don’t stop there. We’re available 24/7 to support our team—whether it’s a question, a challenge, or a moment of reflection. We nurture, grow, and listen, helping each companion achieve their own goals and shape their own path. As Meadow Rise grows, so will their opportunities. Because we believe in never-ending pathways, not fixed roles.

Our companions represent our values and mission every day. They’re the heart of Meadow Rise—and they make care feel like connection, colour, and kindness.

🌱 We’re still growing. As a newly forming service, we’re building our companion team with care and intention. If you’re someone who leads with heart, listens deeply, and wants to make care feel personal—we’d love to hear from you.

The Bees and Butterflies of Meadow Rise - Our Volunteers

Bringing Joy, Connection & Unexpected Growth.

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, our volunteers are like bees and butterflies—gentle presences who move between people and moments, bringing lightness, warmth, and a touch of magic. They help care feel more like community, adding colour, companionship, and creativity to everyday life.

Whether it’s sharing stories, supporting wellbeing activities, helping with events, or simply being there, volunteers enrich the service in ways that go beyond the care plan. They remind us that care is also about joy, spontaneity, and being seen.

🌱 We’re still growing. As a newly forming service, we don’t have volunteers just yet—but we’d love to hear from you if this sounds like your kind of purpose. Whether you have time, talent, or simply a heart for others, we welcome gentle souls who want to help Meadow Rise flourish.
