Work With Us

Join a Team That Helps Wildflowers Flourish

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, we’re growing something gentle, purposeful, and rooted in real life. Our service users are the wildflowers—each unique, resilient, and deserving of care that sees their beauty, not their barriers.

We’re looking for people who want to help those wildflowers thrive. People who bring warmth, emotional intelligence, and a steady presence. People who understand that care isn’t just about tasks—it’s about trust, relationship, and quiet transformation.

Whether you’re a companion (petal) offering visible care and emotional connection, an admin team member (stem) holding everything steady and flowing, or a future volunteer (bee or butterfly) bringing joy and lightness between moments—you’ll be part of a team that’s growing with intention.

Our founder, Samantha, is the root of Meadow Rise—grounded in lived experience, compassion, and a vision for care that feels personal, inclusive, and emotionally safe. Together, we’re building a service where every role matters, and every person is supported to grow.

We’re still in our early stages, which means there’s space to shape your role, bring your ideas, and help build something beautiful from the ground up.

If you’re someone who:

  • Leads with kindness and emotional intelligence
  • Values relationships over routines
  • Wants to make care feel like connection
  • Believes in growth—for yourself and others

…then we’d love to hear from you.

Your Place in Meadow Rise

Administrators - The Steady Stem

Care Coordinators - The Compass Of The Meadow

Carers - The Petals Of Meadow Rise

Our admin team are the stem of Meadow Rise—the strong, steady link that holds everything upright and flowing. They connect people, plans, and purpose with calm, capable care.

Admin roles at Meadow Rise go far beyond logistics. They’re about emotional presence, gentle coordination, and being the reassuring voice at the other end of the phone. Whether it’s arranging visits, liaising with families and professionals, or simply listening with warmth, our admin team help the whole service feel safe, responsive, and relational.

We’re looking for people who are organised, emotionally intelligent, and quietly confident—people who can hold space for others while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you’re someone who brings clarity, kindness, and calm to complex situations, you might be the stem we’ve been waiting for.

Carers - The Petals Of Meadow Rise

Our companions—often called carers elsewhere—are the petals of Meadow Rise. They’re the part of the flower you see and feel first: soft, strong, and full of presence. They bring care to life through gentle action, emotional connection, and relational trust.

Companions offer regulated and non-regulated support, from personal care and medication assistance to creative companionship and emotional reassurance. But more than tasks, they bring dignity, warmth, and attentiveness to every moment. They listen deeply, respond intuitively, and help each person feel safe, seen, and supported.

We’re looking for people who are emotionally intelligent, reliable, and values-led—people who understand that care is not just about doing, but about being. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, what matters most is your ability to build relationships that feel personal, empowering, and kind.

If you’re someone who leads with heart, adapts with grace, and wants to help wildflowers flourish, you might be the petal we’ve been waiting for.

Volunteers - The Bees & Butterflies Of Meadow Rise

Our care coordinators are the compass of Meadow Rise—the ones who help everything stay aligned, responsive, and relational. They guide the flow of care with clarity and compassion, making sure every person we support receives care that’s not just well-planned, but well-felt.

They work closely with our admin team (the stem), companions (the petals), and families to ensure that support plans are followed, visits run smoothly, and any changes are handled with emotional intelligence. They’re the ones who notice when something needs adjusting, when someone needs extra reassurance, or when a quiet check-in makes all the difference.

We’re looking for care coordinators who are organised, reflective, and emotionally attuned—people who can hold both the big picture and the small details, and who understand that good coordination is about listening, adapting, and leading with heart.

If you’re someone who brings structure with softness, and who can guide a growing service with steadiness and care, you might be the compass we’ve been waiting for.

Volunteers - The Bees & Butterflies Of Meadow Rise

Our volunteers are like bees and butterflies—gentle, uplifting presences who move between moments, bringing joy, connection, and emotional nourishment. They’re not here to replace professional care—they’re here to enrich it, adding lightness, creativity, and community spirit to the everyday.

Volunteers might support wellbeing activities, offer companionship, help with events, or simply be a kind face and listening ear. Their presence helps Meadow Rise feel more like a meadow than a service—alive with relationships, spontaneity, and shared humanity.

We’re looking for people who are warm, curious, and emotionally intelligent—people who want to give their time in a way that feels meaningful, relational, and gently transformative.

You don’t need qualifications—just a heart for others, a willingness to listen, and a desire to help wildflowers grow.

If you’re someone who brings joy between the petals, you might be the butterfly we’ve been waiting for.

Activity Coordinator – The Sunlight in the Meadow

Our Activity Coordinator is like sunlight in the meadow—bringing warmth, energy, and gentle stimulation that helps wildflowers open up and thrive. They create moments of joy, connection, and creativity that go beyond routine care, helping people feel alive, engaged, and emotionally nourished.

This role is about more than organising activities—it’s about curating experiences that reflect each person’s interests, identity, and emotional needs. From storytelling and music to gentle movement, sensory sessions, and community connection, the Activity Coordinator helps turn ordinary days into meaningful ones.

We’re looking for someone who is creative, emotionally intelligent, and deeply attuned to others—someone who can adapt, inspire, and make space for both quiet reflection and shared laughter.

If you’re someone who brings light into the room, listens with imagination, and wants to help wildflowers bloom through connection and creativity, you might be the sunlight we’ve been waiting for.

Team Life at Meadow Rise

Gentle presence, not clinical appearance

Rooted in care, growing in confidence—training that helps you flourish

Rooted in care, growing in confidence—training that helps you flourish

Our uniform is designed to be comfortable, approachable, and discreet—so the people we support never feel like they’re being “looked after,” but rather walked alongside.

Our team members wear polo tops with the Meadow Rise logo, available in a choice of calming colours. You’ll also be given a fleece for warmth and an ID badge for safety and reassurance. This keeps things professional but relaxed—especially when out in the community, where we want people to feel included, not singled out.

If someone we support prefers that their companion doesn’t wear a uniform, that’s absolutely fine. We’ll always honour personal preferences. In those cases, staff simply wear appropriate, tidy clothing that still reflects Meadow Rise’s values of respect and emotional safety. We provide uniform and PPE.

Whether you’re in uniform or not, what matters most is how you show up—with warmth, dignity, and emotional intelligence.

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, we believe that care is a craft—something to be nurtured, refined, and grown with intention. That’s why every team member receives full training before they begin, starting with the nationally recognised Care Certificate and a suite of mandatory modules including safeguarding, infection control, moving and handling, and medication awareness. But training doesn’t stop there. We offer a rich catalogue of additional learning tailored to your interests and the needs of the people we support—covering areas like dementia care, trauma-informed practice, continence support, and inclusive communication. Training is delivered both face-to-face and online, with flexible options to suit different learning styles and schedules. For those who want to go further, we also support pathways into formal qualifications, apprenticeships, and leadership development. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your expertise, you’ll be supported to grow in your role—and beyond—with emotional intelligence, reflection, and real-world relevance at the heart of every step.

Those Who Help Others Grown Need Nurturing Too

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, we believe that care begins with the carers. That’s why staff wellbeing isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of our root system, woven into everything we do. When our team feels supported, valued, and emotionally safe, the whole meadow thrives.

We offer regular 1:1 check-ins, supervisions, and wellbeing reviews to make sure every team member feels heard, held, and guided. Competency checks help us maintain high standards while celebrating growth, and personal development plans ensure that your journey with Meadow Rise reflects your strengths, goals, and aspirations.

We operate an open door policy—not just in name, but in spirit. Whether you need advice, a listening ear, or space to reflect, you’ll always be met with warmth and respect. Everyone’s voice matters here, and every team member helps shape the meadow. Your insights, experiences, and ideas are part of how we grow.

Wellbeing isn’t just about avoiding burnout—it’s about building a culture where people feel safe to be themselves, supported to learn, and invited to lead with emotional intelligence.

Expectations & Commitments

Growing a culture of trust, consistency, and care

At Meadow Rise Care Ltd, we’re building something new—from the ground up. That means every team member plays a part in shaping the meadow: not just through what they do, but how they show up. We believe that care is a relationship, and relationships thrive on consistency, communication, and shared values.

Here’s what we ask of everyone who joins our growing team:

Training & Growth

We ask staff to be reliable and consistent—because the people we support rely on familiar faces and steady rhythms. Continuity of care builds trust, emotional safety, and a sense of belonging. Whether you’re supporting someone once a week or every day, your presence matters.

Communication

We value open, emotionally intelligent communication—with service users, families, and each other. That means keeping management informed, raising concerns early, and being present in conversations. We operate an open door policy, and we expect everyone to use it with care and respect.

Professional Standards

All staff must adhere to Meadow Rise’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and respectful conduct. These aren’t just rules—they’re the framework that keeps everyone safe, supported, and empowered.

Going Above & Beyond

We’re looking for people who bring more than just skills. We value kindness, creativity, and initiative—those quiet moments where someone goes the extra mile to make care feel personal. That’s what makes Meadow Rise different.

Hours & Contracts

As a new service, we’re starting with zero-hour contracts to allow flexibility while we grow. We’ll always be fair with hours and shifts, and as demand increases, we’ll introduce set contracts to offer greater stability. We’re committed to building a team that grows with us—and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
